As per Government guidelines and as a precautionary measure we have closed our front door.
We are all still working; however, we have decided for your health & ours it would be more sensible for meetings to take place by phone or email.
If you have anything to deliver please put it through the front door and if you have a pre-booked appointment please telephone us to let us know when you arrive.
Our phones & emails are still working as we are.  If you have any concerns then please let us know.

We know this is a difficult time for most and we appreciate that our clients are particularly anxious about the impact this will have upon their cases. We remain open for business in order to help steer our clients through this uncertain time, but we are making changes to the way we work, for the safety of our clients and staff as this remains our paramount concern. Through a combination of home working and office presence, we remain fully operational to both new and existing clients.

Our team of lawyers are able to continue providing advice by telephone (01371 875 200) and email (info@foort-tayler.co.uk). Our premises are closed but we will continue to practise remotely and all calls and emails will be answered or returned. We are fully set up for remote working and so we are able to continue operating as we always do, even if we are unable to continue coming into the office. The health and safety of our clients and staff is our overriding concern at this time.

We appreciate that some of our clients are anxious about their upcoming hearings and we continue to monitor this situation closely. The President of the Family Division, Sir Andrew McFarlane has released guidance to the family courts today with the clear message that ‘there is a strong public interest in the Family Justice System continuing to function as normally as possible despite the present pandemic’. As a result, we are working closely with the courts and Counsel in the hope that any upcoming hearings can continue as efficiently as possible.

We continue to offer a free initial half hour consultation in family law and so if you do have a legal matter that you require advice upon please let us know and we will arrange a convenient time for us to give you a call.

We want to assure you that we will continue to do our very best to look after all of our client’s needs and continue to keep operations as normal as possible for as long as we can.

Thank you for your assistance and understanding at this time.
