We are delighted to confirm that despite the difficulties we all find ourselves facing due to COVID-19, we remain open for business, and are fully operational for both new and existing clients.

Foort Tayler offer services in Family law, Residential and Commercial Conveyancing, Wills and Probate. We continue to be able to offer our full range of services through this challenging time

Our Building: To adhere to Government advice and to safeguard our Foort Tayler community, the door to our premises is currently closed to all visitors.
The health and safety of our clients and staff equally must be a key consideration at this time.

Post: If you have anything to deliver, please post it through the front door. Our support staff are working tirelessly to ensure incoming and outgoing post is processed in the usual prompt manner.

Communications: Our switchboard, phones and emails are still fully operational. All calls and emails will be answered or returned.

Meetings: To safeguard your health and ours, we will be substituting face-to-face client meetings with whichever means of communication you are most comfortable; be that telephone call, video call, or e-mail.
Please advise your lawyer of your preference for such meetings, and we will happily accommodate this.

Our Work

Although our premises are closed to the public, through a combination of efficient remote home-working and a reduced office presence, we are striving to maintain our high standard of service delivery to all clients.

New Clients:  Our lawyers are continuing to provide advice for new enquiries in all our practice areas. Please contact us by:

Telephone        01371 875 200

We continue to offer a free initial half hour consultation in family law. If you require legal advice on a family matter, please let us know and we will arrange a convenient time to speak with you.

We are still taking instructions for drafting new Wills, which we have observed is a task that has come to the forefront of some clients’ thinking in recent weeks. If you need such advice then do get in touch.

Existing Clients: We appreciate that at this difficult time, our clients are particularly anxious about the impact this will have upon their cases. We want to assure you that we will continue to do our very best to look after all of our clients’ needs and continue to keep operations as normal and smooth as possible.

Upcoming Hearings: We appreciate that some of our clients are anxious about their upcoming hearings. The President of the Family Division, Sir Andrew McFarlane has released guidance to the family courts with the clear message that “there is a strong public interest in the Family Justice System continuing to function as normally as possible despite the present pandemic”.

We are working closely with the courts and Counsel in the hope that any upcoming hearings can continue as efficiently as possible. Regardless, we will keep you informed where necessary.

Thank you for your understanding at this time. If you have any concerns then please do let us know. Our thoughts are with all of those affected by COVID-19.
